This programme was designed for people who wish to make lifestyle changes to aid becoming fitter or to aid muscle building/toning. It is not focussed solely around losing weight, but also about gaining weight.

At Real Fitness, we understand both can be difficult processes to go through and are not always easy to achieve or maintain.
Each weekly session focusses on subjects such as eating habits, portion sizes, food labels and weekly progress reports. We work with everyone as an individual because there is no one size fits all solution to weight control. Indeed, everyone coming to our classes has unique needs and very personal goals.
Do I Need Weight Control?
Are you looking to gain or lose weight? This is a simple question, but it is a little more complicated than that. When looking to get fit, it is not just about exercising more or losing weight, but the kind of weight you lose and how you lose it. Afterall, if Supersize Me taught us anything, it was that fat weighs less than muscle.
On the flip side, gaining weight is not about eating more and exercising less. A lot of athletes as well as bodybuilders need to bulk up, but crucially, they need to bulk up in the right areas. Building muscle means doing the right exercises and eating the right foods to gain the right kind of weight in the right places.

This means learning new patterns of behaviour in terms of what you eat, how much you eat, and how you exercise. He’s lived through not just the physical aspects of trying to gain and lose weight, but also the emotional and psychological sides. This is why he knows that it can be difficult to gain weight and equally difficult to lose it.
